Aftercare Recommendations
laser Tattoo Removal Aftercare Instructions
Caring for your skin after a laser tattoo removal session is essential for proper healing and to minimize complications. Please follow these guidelines:
- Keep the treated area dry and protected for the first 24 hours; after that, gently wash with mild soap and water.
- Apply a thin layer of healing ointment (such as Aquaphor or Neosporin) and cover with a sterile dressing for the first several days.
- Stay out of direct sunlight for at least two weeks. If you must be outdoors, use a sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher.
- Allow scabs or blisters to heal naturally—do not scratch, peel, or pick at the skin.
- Avoid heavy exercise or activities that cause excessive sweating for 24–48 hours following treatment.
- Refrain from using hot tubs, saunas, or swimming pools for at least one week after your session.
- Wear loose-fitting clothing over the area to reduce rubbing and irritation.
- If redness, swelling, or discomfort persists, reach out to us for further instructions.
